Baddrol Bakhtiar named team manager

Baddrol Bakhtiar has been appointed team manager of Kedah FA for the 2026/27 A1 Semi-Pro League season.
The appointment was announced by Kedah Football Association vice-president Muhammad Radhi Mat Din. Baddrol captained Kedah Darul Aman FC before joining Sabah FC in the same role, and won the Gurun state seat in 2023.
Structure and discipline
KFA pointed to his playing and leadership experience as the reason for the appointment, with the aim of strengthening the squad’s structure and discipline after a third-place finish last season.
He joins a staff that already includes head coach Akmal Rizal Ahmad Rakhli, appointed earlier in June.
